Playwright test automation services
We design and build a Playwright suite from scratch: a clear folder structure, reusable fixtures, role-based locators, stable test data and reporting your team can read. The first goal is a small set of tests that guard your most important journeys and that your engineers trust enough to act on.
What do you deliver?
A Playwright project in your repository with configuration, fixtures, helper functions and tests for the agreed journeys. It includes reports, traces and video on failure, a short guide to running and extending it, and a pipeline file so it runs on every change.
- Playwright project with config, fixtures and helpers
- Tests for the journeys we agree
- HTML report, trace and video on failure
- A short guide to run and extend the suite
- A pipeline file for your CI
How do you keep tests from becoming flaky?
Playwright waits for elements to be ready, so we rely on that instead of fixed delays. We use locators based on what users see, such as roles and labels, keep test data isolated per test, and avoid tests that depend on each other. Each test must pass alone and in any order.
How do you choose what to test?
We list your user journeys with you and rank them by business impact and how often they change. The top of that list is automated first. Lower-risk areas stay with manual or lower-level tests, which are cheaper to run and maintain.
Do you test APIs too?
Yes. Playwright can call APIs directly, which makes tests faster and more reliable. We use API calls to set up data and check results, and keep browser steps for what only a browser can show. We can also add API-only checks where they give better coverage.
What does Playwright test automation cost?
Each project is quoted on its scope, so there’s no price list. The main cost drivers are the number and complexity of journeys, how hard test data is to set up, whether APIs need covering, how many browsers you support, and how much training you want. Request a quote and we reply by email.
Frequently asked questions
Can you add tests to an existing suite?
Yes. We review what exists, keep what works, and add Playwright tests alongside it.
Do you support visual testing?
Playwright has screenshot comparison built in. We use it sparingly on stable pages, because it creates maintenance work whenever the design changes.
What will my team need to learn?
Basic JavaScript or TypeScript and the Playwright documentation. We include a short guide and a walkthrough of the suite.
